Prime Healthcare selects RadPod for eight Illinois hospitals

Prime Healthcare, a national health system with 51 hospitals in 14 states, has partnered with CIVIE to support imaging at the eight Illinois hospitals it recently acquired from Ascension.
One reading platform for eight hospitals
Bringing newly acquired hospitals onto common radiology operations is a hard integration problem: different systems, different coverage and different turnaround. Prime is using RadPod to unify and speed up imaging workflows across the eight sites, with:
- intelligent case routing to the right radiologist
- real-time analytics and performance dashboards
- AI integrations in the reading workflow
“We selected RadPod for its proven ability to deliver results in complex radiology ecosystems,” said Sunil Patel, MD, Senior Vice President and Regional Chief Medical Officer of Prime Healthcare.
“Our platform is purpose-built to reduce friction across radiology networks,” said Dhruv Chopra, CEO of CIVIE. “We are excited to partner with Prime Healthcare during this important phase of growth.”
