From one practice's problems to an ecosystem.
CIVIE was founded in 2018 as Collaborative Imaging, started by radiology operators who knew first-hand where the work slowed down: worklists split across systems, studies that were hard to share, and billing that pulled people away from patients.
So the team built the tools its peers were missing, one at a time. A Universal Worklist came first in 2019, followed by revenue cycle management, cloud PACS, a RIS and ASR speech-to-text. In 2025 WindRose Health Investors partnered with Collaborative Imaging's management to acquire Ci's technology platform and form CIVIE, and CIVIE's own foundation model brought AI across workflows, reporting, coding and automation.
Today one AI-powered platform covers the whole imaging journey:
