North Star Diagnostic Imaging adds CIVIE RIS to its CIVIE billing platform

North Star Diagnostic Imaging, an outpatient imaging provider in Dallas-Fort Worth, has added CIVIE’s unified Radiology Information System to the CIVIE billing platform it already used. Both run on a single source code.
Why RIS and billing belong together
When the RIS and the billing system are separate products, every exam crosses an interface before it can be billed, and every mismatch between clinical and financial data becomes manual rework. On one platform, the clinical record and the claim are the same record.
The announcement lists what that changes:
- Billing starts as soon as a procedure is completed and documented.
- Clinical and financial data are shared, so fewer mismatches need rework.
- Rules-based workflows, AI-assisted coding and denial prevention run automatically.
- One system means less IT maintenance, training and support.
- Unified audit trails and single-source analytics cover operations, productivity and profitability.
“When RIS and billing systems are built together from the ground up, the result is transformative,” said Dhruv Chopra, CEO of CIVIE.
“Partnering with CIVIE aligns with our commitment to combine cutting-edge technology with outstanding patient care,” said David Wright, Co-CEO of North Star Diagnostic Imaging.
